Managing Director - Startup (Nigeria)
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Managing Director to serve as the local executive and legal representative for our Nigerian entity. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for formally establishing our corporate presence (including opening and administering corporate bank accounts), managing initial compliance, and signing local employment contracts. You will also oversee a local engineering team while working remotely yourself. Operating within a defined corporate governance framework, you will independently run standard daily routines while ensuring that all major financial or strategic decisions are brought to shareholders for explicit formal approval.
Key Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical, business, or corporate legal field
- Strong technical background in software development with the ability to lead, mentor, and evaluate developers
- Experience operating in a start-up environment and navigating early-stage company setup tasks
- Ability to legally execute local contracts and manage administrative setup, including creating corporate bank accounts
- Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and experience managing a local team
- Must meet all eligibility requirements to be appointed as a Company Director under Nigerian Law (CAMA 2020), including being of sound mind, at least 18 years of age, and not an undischarged bankrupt or otherwise disqualified by a court
- Highly disciplined approach to corporate governance, capable of working within strict Rules of Procedure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- (Optional) Business fluency in German (minimum A2 level) is highly advantageous and positively impacts compensation
(Senior) Salesforce Admin/Developer
As a Salesforce Developer, you will extend Salesforce beyond its existing capabilities and take technical responsibility for integrating external systems. Using Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, and APIs, you design and implement customized solutions tailored precisely to the needs of our clients.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years experience with Salesforce administration or development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Apex, Java, or C#
- Experience in building web pages with Visualforce or HTML/CSS
- Experience with Lightning or JavaScript
- Ability to write and understand SOQL / SQL database queries
- Good knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Declarative Tools (Flows, Dynamic Forms, etc)
- Relevant Salesforce certifications
- Hands-on projects experience
- Strong communication skills
- (Optional) Business fluency in German (minimum A2 level) is highly advantageous and positively impacts compensation
